Interesting. Very interesting. So instead of coming in dinghies, there were even greater numbers entering after stowing away on lorries, ferries, Eurostar etc
OG. Labour didn't consider it the right thing to do, so they didn't, even though it had been raised in probably a brain-stiorming session. The Tories did think it the right thing to do, and ploughed on into a complete mess. If they'd done it properly something might have happened apart from them appearing to be incompetent; they ploughed on into a legal shambles. They seem to act without thinking things through, just to show off their toughness.
