4. Here am I, sitting in a tin can. Shelterbox Quiz. £1.25 entry fee. Closing date is 25th March 2024.

5. Sibsey Bowls Club Quiz. 60 questions - 30 answers contain the consecutive letters BO, ST or ON and 30 answers are places in the UK ending in 'by. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 30th March 2024.

6. Sisters. New Asbestos Action quiz. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st March 2024.

7. Astronomy. New Soroptimist quiz. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 31st March 2024.

Closing in April 2024

8. Shaw & Crompton Macmillan Cancer Support 2024 Annual Quiz. 72 questions in 6 varied sections. Donation entry fee. Closing date is 5th April 2024.

9. County Duham placenames. cryptic, GK, hidden in plain sight and anagrams that will lead you to 75 towns or villages in County Durham. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 13th April 2024.

10. All Abroad. Children's Society Winter Quiz. £1 entry fee. Closing date is 30th April 2024.

An Initial thought.  Raising money for Water Aid.  Transforming lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation.  Answers are people/animals who are usually known by their initials and surname rather than their given names.   Full name and initials required. Quiz sheets are a suggested minimum donation of £1.00. Prize of £10 for the entry with the most correct answers. In the event of a tie spellings will be taken into account and all correct entries will be entered into a draw. Prize of £5 will be selected at random from all entries.
