i had blue ribband but it doesnt fit !!

I'm not saying you are wrong, but I've never seen Blue Riband spelt with two Bs before. Maybe it's a valid alternative spelling, maybe you need to think again about the answer.

I have found 3 ways of spelling it but this way fits and is one of the ways it is spelt, see here this site gives 2 ways -

Google shows several sites where the spelling is : Blue Ribband with the double 'b'.
