Does anyone know how to avoid JustGiving's "voluntary" contribution?

I used to be able to reduce it to "0" but was unable to do so this time and they took 10%.

I wish to donate to the charity and not be forced to give to JG, too.

Meant to put this in Chatterbank!

It was explained on Sue's site and you were on that thread

Searched online......

"But here's the kicker — the default 'voluntary contribution' is set at a whopping 15 per cent. In my case, £7.50 on a £50 donation.

I mean, I could perhaps stomach an extra £1, but £7.50!

If you click on the drop-down menu, you can choose to lower the fee to 10 per cent or 5 per cent — so an extra £5 or £2.50 for me.

The only way to avoid paying the extra charge is to select 'other' and then leave the box as it is, showing £0.00."
