Sooo, MrSmow has been away on business since last week & isn't home till tomorrow, so I'm spending today, Easter Sunday, home alone! Anyone else? And what will u be doing? I certainly can't be bothered to cook just for me, so looks like a tin of soup for lunch lol! Now if the sun comes out like yesterday it won't be too bad, but doesn't look like it's going to.

I live alone so most days it's just me and the cats. Today I am off To Wolverhampton to watch the women's league cup final so it's sandwiches for me

I live alone (No pets) so today is the first of the two yearly family gatherings.... and a decent meal as well.

I sort of wish I was at home alone in order to get some serious work done. When I have peace and quiet I can really knock the work out but when the little one is playing his tablet and squealing with excitement and OH is boring me witless with his "funny" stories of yesteryear it can be quite a distraction. 

I will be highly delighted when he's built my garden office that he's promised me. It will be my little bolt hole 😄

He runs an I.T company & the Easter break was the last chance  before the end of the tax year that this company  could have him & his guys up to their H.O to  overhaul their system (don't ask me more, all far too technical lol). 
I have the cats, and he left me a huge Easter Egg lol, so looks like it could be me, tv and chocolate!

Retired and always on my own. Doesn't bother me...much. Daughter and her partner have been in Italy all week snowboarding. She's returning tomorrow while he stays on at his parents. I never see them at Easter anyway.

I've got garlic soaked lamb marinating that will go in the slow cooker later. I try to make a point of cooking...even if it's just an omelette.

Me. Mrs retro has gone to our house in Dorset with Easter eggs etc for the Grand daughters. I was supposed to go with her but a possible contagious gastro bug has kept me away. Not fair on the children or anyone else. I couldn't face the thought of a BH drive without a toilet at hand.🤒

Sun is shining brightly here in Hove plus a lovely blue sky.  No idea how long for.

I am not shining brightly.  Last night I diagnosed myself with T2 diabetes and have spent hours since reading up on it.  😓

Sorry for putting a downer on your thread Smow, but I've typed it so I'll leave it.

Naomi I looked at all my symptons after having an horrendous night on Thursday and that's where I was led.  Plus the fact I had a pre diabetes warning some years ago.  Sitting here day after day with COPD means after a couple of steps to exercise myself I'm fighting for breath.  No longer able to walk up and down the corridor like I used to.  I will of course try and get an appointment with a doctor but that could take weeks, I think.
