Much as I love classical music, if I was asked to find 'the most beautiful music ever', I think that my mind might turn first to simple folk tunes.

Most of us will be familiar, in maybe a small way maybe,  with Eric Satie and his Gnossienes and Gymnopedies pieces. The Gymnopedies themselves are 3 hours of wonderful relaxing music. This video, that I have posted before, has a mixture of pieces from both sets with accompanying pictures which in a strange way make me nostalgic for places I never was at time when I wasn't.
