Bbc Quiz : Week 21
Good evening, all!
I hope that you’re all well and that you’ve been enjoying the sunshine today. (I see though that, with it being a Bank Holiday weekend and with most kids on their half-term holiday as well, there’s the inevitable rain forecast for most of the week for many of us!).
A decent start for me this week, with a near-perfect SIX out of seven in the main quiz:

Not so good for me in the junior quiz this week though, with just TWO out of five:

Your turn!

Thanks for keeping Sandy company, Haras2!
I hope that you'll find a new feline friend soon! (I still think that Nic-Cola is the ideal cat for you. She can live with dogs but needs a quiet, rural location: https:/
What sunshine? 12/13C and grey with a cold wind here and hasbeen for 2 days! Never mind, we have the bank holiday week to come, bound to get better....... Oh! Just seen the forecast, :(
Pre-slitting-my-throat (OH has just written off my car on my insurance) I'll give my scores. Busy telling myself that these bad periods always end eventually - but thisis a doozy.
4/7 and 4/5, so an aggregate of 8. Not three bad! :)
Good Evening, Chris!
My scores tonight are
3/7, 4/5
I have been working on my garden this week and tried out my son's pressure washer for the first time. I haven't quite got the technique mastered as yet and, despite wearing wellies, managed to drench through many pairs of jeans. However, the garden looks like new again, so it has been worth it. Shame I'm not going to get out and enjoy it with all the rain forecast though.
We were due to have a family barbecue tomorrow but may need to cook inside instead. I hope sunnier weather is on the way soon.
Wishing you and the terrific trio a wonderful week ahead :-)
Good evening, Karamia!
I'm told that the trick when using a pressure washer is to start with the pressure quite low and then to gradually turn it up. Howevee, as my DIY skills are almost non-existent, you probably shouldn't take too much notice of anything that I say on the matter anyway!
Well done on getting some decent scores this week.
I hope that your (indoor) BBQ goes well tomorrow. (I'm now feeling hungry!)
Two of the Troublesome Trio will need to go to the vet's surgery very soon, to get microchipped. (Tablo had her chip put in when I went to collect her after her fortnight-away-from-home-without-any-food adventure). I bought a new (top-loading) pet carrier today, to make it easier to get them there but I'm still not looking forward to the stress of it (both for them and for me). Neither am I looking forward to the £70 bill!
We all hope that your week will go smoothly anyway!
