I know what certain people on here think of me so do me a favor adn just dony comment,,,

As previously stasted, ive fell of the wagon after 5 months sobriety. Ive rang, texted and left voice mail to local drug and alcohol addiction services. They just wont reply!

I have a friend in a similar boat. He went into detx just b4 me and also fell of the wagon, and he to is trying again ..

They engaged with him again but not me.

What the actual???

What am I supposed to do? Im trying to get better but when the local drug and alcohol agencies give up on you???

Fed up of been plssed all the time. Dont want to be like this but fear that im about to die.

Maybe I need Jesus??

They haven't gave up on you. And I'm sure your family and friends haven't either.

Addiction services don't have the resources they would like. You will get a place with them again and when you do value it.

They can guide you towards the right track but it's you that needs to do the hard work.

You can do it and Jesus won't be any help. It's up to you.

Try a personal visit, rather than an email or phone call, Nailedit. You'll be a bit harder to ignore then!

They obviously have Sandy. Ive message after message. Nothing! I can't even go to my GP becsause then I get referred back to this.

On the verge of throwing myself of a bridge or under a train.

aNd the people will say, "he didnt seek help£

Looks like it's up to you. Sink or swim. A hard road indeed, but, not impossible. I assume that you've tried the ten steps of AA.

maybe because im an alcoholic sparkly!

I totally get why people dont get where im at

(IE got full use of my limbs etc)

But because im an alcoholhic doesnt mean that I cant sympathise with the plight of others, because I do. The fact that im a pl33 head doesnt mean that im a totally self centred, addict. (Though addiction DOES make you selfish admittadly)

In all my years of AA they never did a frickin thing for an atheist.

I just cant have a drink in the evening. or the afternoon or morning, Im an addict...need it 24/7

As you have done before - before, by an effort which frightened you (re-read your posts), you conquered that fear and went into re-hab. You won. You can win again, but only you can do it.

Where did you go before? Try turning up on their doorstep if necessary. They know you, they know you can do it. They will have better contacts with the services you need.

You need people around you to help. Go out to them and let them know your needs. x

How the hell do I get in touch with "sevices" when they wont get in touch with me?

Go to my GP and thet put me in touch with 'sevicea' they wont reply.

You've lost control. Admit that you need help from a power greater than your own. Religion be damned.
