Should I Keep Telling My Dads Gf To Get Her Dogs Claws Clipped, Or Would It Be Excessive?

My dad lives in Arizona and I live in Oregon. He's currently visiting, and he brought his gf, and she brought her dog, and she is pretty fat, but that's not the worst part. The dogs claws are so long, it looks like they are curling into the pads. She actually pointed it out otherwise I probably would have missed it. She asked if there is a place in town that can trim her dogs claws. I reccomended she takes her dog to the place I take my dog. My dad told her that I could take her dog and take her to the vet. I am willing to because this poor dog needs her claws trimmed. My dad's gf said that it would be a good idea. That was I think the day before yesterday, and she hasn't contacted me. I'm afraid she's not gonna say anything and they'll go back to Arizona before they get clipped so I was gonna say something again, but idk if it's worth making a thing of it. I think it is worth it, but idk. Should I keep bringing it up?

As you like reporting people, you could threaten to report them to the RSPCA or whatever the equivalent is in the US.

 Or just accept you've mentioned it and now it's up to them.

Why not contact them and repeat your offer - and say I can take the dog that day

If the gf said getting the claws clipped was a good idea - why didn't you fix up for you to take the dog to get them done then?

Get back to them and arrange to get the nails done; it's easy enough.
