Website, creation, management and hosting!! HELP!
Hi guys,
i have a big problem which si really annoying me!
I am currently int he process of setting up a new business. I will be fully regisitered within a few days and I will be needing a website! What I want is to be able to buy a domain name, and host my website somewhere where i can have a fully functional website which i have full control over with online updates which i can perform. I would require web mail for example, sales@mywebsite.com.
All i want is to bve able to simply update my website with no hassle. but WHERE!! there are so many places and i just dont no what am getting. i dont want to pay a fortune but i want a website with a pofessional look.
Please help me im sure you can see how distressed it is making me!!

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I'd concur with bazwillrun, and recommend 1&1. I've been using them for several years and the service has been excellent. I believe that they are still offering free web-authoring software if you sign up to one of their hosting packages.
However, hosting agents don't build websites for you - you have to do that yourself or pay someone else to do it for you. If you plan on "updating your website with no hassle" I assume you have the knowledge and skills to create and maintain a website yourself? If not, then achieving the "professional look" with no previous knowledge may be more of a challenge. I use Dreamweaver, but if you're new to websdesign you might prefer something a little more intuitive and less complex . . . of which there are many cheaper packages around. Serif does one that's quite highly regarded, I believe.
