For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.i was in hospita,,with my back 9 days,it was agony as i find it hard to move with my bad balance,i go for more x-rays next week, i have been in hospital 3 times in the past couple of months,i got sepsis following my radiotherapy,then i got gallstones which i had to get out then my back,as you say it can only get easier.i am getting a bit grumpy cause i cant get to the hairdressers and get my hair cut,its to sore at the sink to wash it,but my niece is coming to visit on monday and giving me a dry cut so its tidy,I think of you lot often and the laughs we had,please take care and keep in touch,lovely speaking to you.xxx
I'm sorry to hear you've had a rough go of it lately, Kate.
If you're speaking to your niece before she comes, perhaps ask if she could pop into Boots/Superdrug or some such to get some dry shampoo? It's not a full-time replacement for washing, but is good for an occasional refresh of your hair.
I used it when I was looking after Lynne & she enjoyed it. I'm sorry, I can't recall which particular brand it was, but I don't think it was very expensive.
