Victorian Cypher
0 Answers
This is a query from another site I belong to. The following appeared in the Daily Telegraph personal column of 1895.
" RORIE. Call at lftt where yric xtii was vihl qtc rf lkef ureflkafls li uant for letter".
It does not appear to be a simple substitution cypher or based on the frequency of letters, although you would need a much longer message to work that out.
Can anyone help?
