It infuriates me that this Crossword has been downgraded to a fun run, but this week I had lost my way. I wrote to the Editor of S.T. but no reaction yet as to why it become a non prize crossword. Has anyone else tried?

I rarely do the GK crossword but the same applies to the cryptic. I emailed a complaint the week they changed and I believe a number of others on this site did too. The only concession they have made is to stop putting the answers in the same issue so weak willed solvers are no longer tempted to cheat and it gives something for the rest of us to attempt to solve on here.
