thank for help but just read on and found simular qustion. i got it from ftn show just wasn,t daft or rich enouth to call in would be interested in the answer though

The answer is 11 Following the rules of maths division and multiplicatiion are done first.

22/2 = 11, so the sum is 1 + 5 = 6 - 6 = 0 + 11 = 11

'The' answer is what the ftn show says it is. If you scroll down (as I think you have) you'll find numerous different answers to this question - it's been asked 3 or 4 times at least. All of them are in one way or other 'right'

dzug is right again (a five star person I think) and Electrochem, the answer Quiz Night on tfn are looking for is NOT 11. Before going to bed last night I hopped to that chanel for about 10 mins (nine and half minutes too long!) to hear a caller give 11 as the answer. There was �8,000 on offer so I can understand the interest. Save your 75p mate...
