2 way to solve this one

[1] find the name of the painting, try the Vatican Museum Online it's there, Tave a virtual tour, and check out the 10 highlights.
the guy covered by the head is holding a book!
the book is the history of something that is gone!

[2] seperate he head into groups of 4
depending on where there looking assign a value of either 1 or 0
convert those numbers to HEX
google the hex number
it's the year something disappeared

there are the 2 way to get the answer for 97

Thanks for that. I knew who the guy was etc etc but couldnt convert the heads and probably still cant. I can do hexidecimal but the more I looked at them the more I couldnt tell which way they were looking
