Sorry AB Ed - just returning a kind message.

Dear Neti - thank you so much for your e-mail message today. It's so nice to know there are kind, thoughtful & genuine people around. I've had butterflies all day, thinking of all my family & friends being together at my sister Amy's funeral tomorrow.

The service itself will be sad enough, but the interment of ashes at the cemetery will be so final.

Thank you again, love Smudge -xxxx-

P.S. Thank you, I would like to re-visit the B/Bakery one day, but wouldn't want to intrude. Remember me to all who do care.

Hi Neti - I'm so sorry, I've just been trawling thro' my emails & opened one up to find your message from Saturday. Glad you liked my little Angel ^8^.

Thank you so much for asking how the day went. It was very sad saying goodbye to Amy, but the service for her was wonderful. It was also nice to see relatives we hadn't seen for years & chatting to them all at the reception.

It had seemed such a long time between Christmas day & the service, so we're all relieved it's now over. I'm trying to think happy thoughts & as you say, smiling like I used to too.

For anyone who has never had any siblings, they have no idea what it's like to lose one - it's awful.

I went swimming again yesterday & felt so much better afterwards - it's so good for the joints & the brain!

Thanks again & see you around Neti.....-x-

smudge come back to Biddybakery. You'll be so welcomed. Did you go to the Eastbourne ceremony? If so, where was it? Well, now you can move forwards, with lovely memories of Amy. It's the dragging out that makes it so painful. As you probably know over here, it's all over from one day to the next. Swimming? ugh I don't think so, it's freezing, but I am starting my long walks and yesterday I went along the coast and it was so beautiful I had forgotten. And to think all this was five minutes down my lane. The sea was like a mirror with tiny islands dotted about and the sky was clear and blue. Made me remember why I like it here.

Hi dear Neti - glad you had a lovely walk. Nothing like a bit of gentle exercise to blow the cobwebs away. I think we're all looking forward to spring & summer now. Take care, Smudge.

P.S. Sorry, forgot to say - I didn't go to the Eastbourne service, only her son & his family who used to live there. Also, that one was really for all the friends Amy had made whilst living there. The main one which everyone attended, was in Bexleyheath, which is where she'd lived all her married life.
