Can someone save my sanity? in the 1980's I saw a film where Ryan O Neal played a detective . He had to team up with John Hurt who played a gay cop ,go undercover as two gay guys and find a serial killer. No one seems to have seen it and even my wife who watched it with me denies it. Please help.

Darn it ~ didn't even see that so thanks for pointing it out! I was distracted slightly as I kept thinking about a movie with Al Pacino which had a similar sounding plot line (the gay cop) 'Cruising'
