Why not just expand Trojanfarce's first effort like, "Cult follower Wayne ........etc" That would give the definition of Mooney - a cult follower and a cryptic clue for it. well done Trojanfarce.

I am so impressed that you have all taken trouble to hlep. I had this mad idea of doing quiz were all the answers contained the surnames of club members. I am doing quite well done 25 out of 38

The problem you have is that Mooney doesn't mean anything (both the cult follower and the bared buttocks are spelt MOONIE!). If it's a club quiz which will only be answered by club members, you may have to refer to the actual Mr/Ms Mooney in the clue (eg. use their forename or occupation etc).

As I said, pretty thin but it might kick off some other thoughts!

• To moon - to expose one's buttocks to others (informal - source: Concise OED)


• Moon - noun, the exposing of one's buttock to others (hence seen by)


• Riding - one third of Yorkshire, in this case the East Riding, aka East Yorkshire or EY.

Moon + EY = Mooney

Going to go with that BigMac I really was struggling with Kujawa. Am also going with the ring and cash one. Yes it is just for club members (seemed a good idea at the time - lol) but I am not going to say that the answers relate to them so that is why I wont go with sounds like one for Mooney
