I haven't found a cheese name that fits the letters, and am very puzzled, having tried several anagram websites. Any help would be gratefully received. I am now thinking that perhaps it is a person's name.

Very many thanks for your help. The cheese books I looked at from the library didn't include this one; I do dimly remember having heard of it years ago somewhere.
