What ever happened to kermit the frog and the rest of the mupets?

when i was a kid i used to love watching the tv show and the films, what ever happend to them. Why did they stop making the films?

Thet're still around- they made Muppets From Space in 1999, then It's A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie in 2002, and I think a Muppet version of the Wizard of Oz was also out recently, or is coming out soon. And of course Sesame Street is still going. My favourite was always Fozzie.

They've stopped showing them because its probably offensive and insulting to Pigs, Frogs, Swedish Chefs and othe assorted harmless creatures.

last i heard kermit was doin time for drug abuse when he fell on hard times.miss piggy tried unsuccessfully to become a pole dancer in soho,so now lives in a one bedroom flat in peckham.chef retired to sweden.the two old dudes in the balcony turned out to be gay and were last seen attending the marriage of elton john and david watshisface.
