Why is it so quiet?

I have been on this site since September last year. You are all amazing, how quick you are, and friendly...well most of the time!!! I try to put answers on, but am never fast enough, but I have had lots of help just by logging on and watching out when I am stuck.

Maybe this weekends crosswords are a bit easier, but normally this site seems busier.

Nevertheless, thanks to all who contribute. You are all stars, you amaze me with your speed and consistency,- and for those who get cross sometimes, remember you don't have to answer.

Shaneystar - So great to hear from you!! Feel like I know you!!! Said to my husband tonight I wonder what has happened to you, as you answer before people ask questions sometimes!! Tell your son you are missed, so let you on now and again! Mind you it gives people like me a chance to look a bit cleverer!!!!

Ha ha ..I keep hinting for a laptop..but it's falling on deaf ears !
They are a nice crowd here in Q&P. There is an occasional spat but on the whole everyone gets along well. It's my favourite category. I have been doing crossword puzzles since I was about ten years old and am now pushing ...er...59 .! My dear old dad used to help me with them. It's nice to meet so many like minded people and share knowledge.

Amazing, shaneystar(2), it was my dad that got me into cryptic crosswords in particular.
