Not really ..I just Google but I will give you a tip ..I use a word finder ..type in my letters and then paste what I think may be the answer into Dictionary.com for a definition.A sort of cross reference really.

It would have helped if I had not, for some unknown reason, got it into my head that 31 down was 2 words 4,4. 21d I thought was something Finches but could not see Fallow Finches in any of my books or on google. And 30a is that - Coloravura - you haven't given that answer. Any way all done now Thanks again for your help.
