Need help with film titles

I was going to check the TV magazine at the end of the week but my dad's thrown it out :/ The first film title I need was on last week and was set in Wales, and an old post office worker adopted a boy who had previously been on the run from the police with his dad and was hiding in a forest. The second one was a film with Shela Hancock and she picks up two eco-warrior hitch hikers because she's dying and is on her way to the Isle of Skye to see an ancient stone circle. Any help with the titles of these two films would be appreciated :))

The first one is Second Best with Willaim Hurt, the second one I don't have a clue about but if you go to www.imdb.com and type in her name it should pull up most of the stuff she's done.

My only excuse is it's a long Sunday afternoon, the second one is 'Hold Back the Night'.
