Sorry. Only just realised. I stand corrected!!
Make sure you get the right Chambers - The Chambers Dictionary 9th edition. I bought the slightly smaller one one time thinking I was replacing like with like but had to go and get the proper one. The other one was nearly the same size and made a lovely gift but was no good for the Guardian or Times.
I agree with you about Chambers and wonder why the Guardian now gives Collins as prizes, (even though I have won one I still prefer to use Chambers!).
