is anybody ging to v this year i go nearly every year and am off again this year but am slightly dissapointed by the line up considering there is no glasto i thought it would be better but the sugar babes and girls aloud what were v thinking is any one slightly dissapointed at line up and yes b4 you say it there are some great acts on just not enough

I'm going, same as every year. I wouldn't fret about the line up just yet, there's a ton of bands still to be announced. There's only about 15-20 bands announced so far so don't worry, I'm sure there will be plenty more big names to come. Besides, I don't care who's playing, I just want to see Radiohead.

Rossy3, have you seen Radiohead before? If not, they're fab. I saw them in Oxford a few years ago and was so lucky, as they'd always (allegedly) vowed they would never play Creep as they didn't want to be known only for that song, but they played it at the end. They were amazing. Sorry for hijacking your thread loopyc!

I went to V about 4 years ago and it was fantastic, that was the only time though so I wouldn't be able to compare with other years and haven't seen the line up for this year but would think, the same as you, that with there being no Glastobury it would have bigger names and possibly a bigger event as lots of Glasto goers would probably be wanting to go too (lots of people I know pick one or the other rather than doing both).

No Natalie, I've seen hundreds of bands in my time but Radiohead have escaped me until now. I go to V pretty much every year and I suppose the line up could be stronger but I'm not fussed. I'm just pleased to see Radiohead! Although I'm a big fan, I never got along with the first album though so I'm not that bothered if they don't play creep. But they've got to play Just.......
