Long shot. Do you have any acting experience? Best advice would be to get involved with local drama clubs and then look at getting an agent or something.

Although saying that the guy who plays Sean apparently contacted the Corrie team and they actually wrote the part for him rather than him applying for a specific part. But he had already been in Queer as Folk so had his equity card aswell as something on his CV.

you could always get in tough with an agency that have "Lookalikes". Some people make a good living out of that.
