Does that make sense or is that far too risky? I wont drink so much on the Sun anyway as flying back and knowing I have to drive next AM
How much had your friend drank Rubyrose?
Thats what im so frightened off as dont want to lose my licence :( Its hard not to drink when on a holiday with the lads, but think thats the sensible thing. I always thought 1 pint took 2 hours, if that was true then I could drink upto 30 pints on the holiday and be OK? thats by my workings anyway but I dont understand how it works :(
One of my mates has a breathalyser which is apparently very accurate, he is gonner take this with him and if over then we will hang around at airport until its good enough to drive, its so annoying - I would never drink and drive but you also need to worry about the AM after :(
Thanks morgmonster, that was wierd as just posted that my mate has one of them, just found out :)
this may help a little bit to understand how good the status is, my workings if I went to bed at 1.00 and drove home at 10.00, thats 9 hours to clear any drink out the system? as it is wont drink on Sunday until back athotel on sun eve around 00.00 (only have time for 1 or 2) as am nervous flyer so think I will be OK but still worries me.
Hi All,
Thanks for the responses, I am the only driver hence reason I pulled the straw this time, they paying ofr my hols so I drive etc cos didnt have enough money to go otherwise :( I cant take any risks, my mate has a sensor that you blow into from the side and it takes 5 seconds to give you a reading, its meant to be highly accurate and cost him 50. Think I will only drink a little on the Sunday (couple of drinks) as by then surely my system would have digested the alcohol? I have been told it takes 2.5 hrs to clear 1 unit, based on that I would be fine but not sure if the above figures are the same no matter how much you drink over the course of the weekend or if they are based on just 1 night ??
Thanks for all your advice, still thinking about it all - what do you think if I were to say have a couple of drinks on the Sunday, so my last heavy drinking was late Sat Eve, I just had a couple to be sociable, say last one being at 01.00 sun Eve? so they would be staggered over the day, say Lunch, Dinner, Plane & Hotel?
Does that sound sensible as I know I can do that without ruining my hols? my main worry is does your body take longer if you are drinking for more then 1 night, ie) 4 consec days? as know it takes roughly 2.5 hrs to clear 1 unit, if this was the case I could drink 10 pins every day and be safe, based on these workings but not prepared to risk it so need to sort it ASAP, so worried :(
Thx
Steve
This is gonner seem really sad, but ive put this together based on our usual hols etc, does this sound sensible o damn stupid?
