Is it just me or is it impossible to solve today's by usual logical method? ...or is a shot-in-the-dark guess needed. I can only get 13 squares and 10 dots by logical counting. Any suggestions please? PS today's title sums me up after an hour's headscratching and number-crunching.
Second line up gives 2 blocks for the 10 column 9 is a 1 therefore dot on line 1 & 3.All to left on bottom line must be dots and the 5 must go to the left of dot on line 3 as it won't fit to right
MANY thanks tenter - I think that you have cracked the missing link, as that's the only place first 5 can go on that line. Shall try and build up from there. Good luck to you!
Thanks again, tenter! Finally cracked it (I think!) Taken all day with frequent pauses for refreshment and eye-refocussing...can't see the "very happy" connection though - numbers 1 to 8 and a funny shape? Real pig, this one !!
