I maybe biased due to being a Pink Floyd fan but i love this building and ive heard rumours of it being demolished is this true? i think (in my opinion) its Londons most interesting piece of architecture and it should become a national trust site

My dad used to work at Battersea Power Station when we lived in Wandsworth. I must have been six or seven and I remember getting told off for walking there and back with my younger brother, although you could wander about safely in those days.

We also played in bombed houses, must have been pretty dangerous. I remember seeing a black bus conductoress for the first time and couldn't take my eyes off her not having seen a black person before.

Hi Qmark78 not about the power station but about Pink Floyd. My brother plays in a fantastic truibute band that have won awards. Fantastic! if you are ever anywhere near where they are playing, try and get along to see them! Midlands based!
