Hi im in the market for a new music source for up to 200 and i have seen the hitachi AXM 79 but im a little confused. It says it has a FM/AM pll tuner but what is the difference between a dab tuner and a pll tuner and is the latter any good?? your input will be most needed and grateful.

PLL stands for something like 'phase locked loop', which basically means there is some circuit that keeps the station in tune all the time. I'm pretty sure most decent radios would have this technology. It is an analogue radio, though, from what you've said.
