Thanks for all the answers regarding the ballet question. I am sticking with caPriole which was the answer given by Jan. I know everyone else says it is a B but I have looked in the dictionary on line and I think she is right and it is with a P so good luck Jan. If I don't win, then I hope it is you

I've put capriole too, I'm certain it's right.
Unfortunately for you it says on the ballet terminology site CABRIOLE; I searched for capriole but that is to do with horses, sorry!
I can assure you JanL - you are wrong. This is not a guess.
According to my dictionary it is Cabriole

oh well back to the drawing board, have to keep working then!

Can we not finish this with the definitions!

CaPriole
1. An upward leap made by a trained horse without going forward and with a backward kick of the hind legs at the height of the leap.
2. A playful leap or jump; a caper.

CaBriole: In ballet, a leap in which the lower leg beats against the upper one at an angle, before the dancer lands again on the lower leg.

It's all in the definition. (In Google it helped to put ballet in the search).

Cheers.

I got the same definition as you for Capriole but with the additional line saying 'used in ballet'

However, for Cabriole, the definition was 'chair leg style'

everyone who went for capriole is going to feel pretty sick come the weekend. can't wait!
