Football film name??

i saw a film a couple of years ago about a boy who is given a man city players boots and becomes brilliant when he wears them.

i know this film has the lead man from full monty as the ex man city player and he lives opposite the old stadium

but unfortunatly i cant remember the name of the film

i have i slight fleeing it may be jiimys boots but i dont think it is

so if you know the name i will be very much greatful
