I got a lot of great replys on my other questions in regards to going to England for my first time. I will be there for 15 days and most tell me not to stay in one place the whole time because I'll spend a lot of time travel time going to all the places I want to see. So I narrowed it down to staying in York for a week. Any cheap Bed and Breakfast there. I want to spend the 2nd week near London but not in London. Preferably south of London because I want to see some of the coastal towns in the south. Let me what area you recommend and any B&B suggestions. Thank You

Windsor is certainly well worth a visit, also Canterbury which is near coast and Dover is interesting also south coast Hastings. (From Dover you could get a ferry to France for a day trip if you've not been there)

Other places which are rich in history Cambridge and Oxford, York has lots to see and you could get a train to Durham well worth a visit and Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire, There's lots of places of History, Warwick Castle is excellent and not far from Stratford-on-Avon it depends what your interests are, Have a great trip.
