80's Childrens TV show

I have a vague recollection of a childrens tv show from the 80s, but can't remember what its called. I seem to remember it revolving around 3 kids who (I think) found an object and were then chased by some guys in dark suits who could materialise anywhere. There was also a black car with tinted windows. I'm sorry the description isn't better, but like I said it is a vague recollection. Any help would be grateful. Cheers
