Who wrote his Book of Nonsense in1946?

I know Edward Lear wrote his, but I think that was in 1846. Unless it's a Typing error. I know someone will come up with the right answer, cos you're all brill. Thanks very much.

Also have a big book at home listing who wrote what, and that only mentions Edward Lear.
