£ symbol disappeared?????????

instead of a £ symbol on web pages i get a J symbol, any ideas how this has happened and how to change it back ?????

I have no idea if this will work, but..........

If you are using IE go to Tools, Internet Options and select the General Tab.

At the bottom is a Languages button, press it.

You should probably only have English on the list.

If there are others make sure English is top of the list.

Another thing to check, but it probably is not this.

Go to the Windows Control Panel and open Regional and Language Options.

Make sure United Kingdon is set for all the various places. There are 4 different places to set it.

If you need to change anything reboot before seeing if it has worked.
