I refuse to eat the donuts after a friend said that they taste heavenly, but they are so light and powdery that you could eat 5 in a row. I dont need the temptation thank you very much!
Oh doglady, I ate 5 last time I had a box. Felt royally sick after but would probably do it again. I like the chocolate iced ones with the cream in the middle..God my mouth is watering. But in answer to your question tobeloy I would'nt do a 100 mile round trip for them, maybe you can order them online.
Oh my God I lurrrrrvvvvvvvvvve Krispy Kreme. I first had them in Kentucky, USA 18 months ago when my friend introduced me to them. There is nothing like going into a Krispy Kreme when the light is on red which means that they've just cooked some of the original glazed and they are ready and hot! I've since had them in Florida (made us go out of our way to go there) and in New York. Not travelled especially in this country, yet, but if there's a branch in Oxford I may just have to go next time I visit the in-laws!
Like lots of things they don't travel well.......
Ouzo - Greece yes, home no
Ricard - France yes, home no
Krispy kremes - america yes, home no
Going to a KK outlet is fun but not worth travelling for.
They are no longer exclusive
You can buy them in Tesco in New Malden - that aint exclusive!
Give me an M&S Yum Yum any day
