i was thinking of getting the starter pack for a friend for her birthday. Are they any good? I've only just heard of them. Are they for adults or children?
They are for adults. Most of the puzzles I have seen require a higher than average IQ to solve.
The downside:
Look how many puzzles there are.
See how few you get in a 10 pack.
Work out how many packs you will need to buy to be sure of getting a complete set.
Add up the cost.
If your friend is capable of doing those calculations and has a few thousand pounds to spare, then go ahead.
PS
Collecting football stickers is just as futile but wont cost you as much.
aw! so you don't think they'd be any good, then? I know she wouldn't ever find the missing cube, or collect all the cards, but I've heard they are really addictive and a fun way to get the mind working and pass the time - without involving a computer!!
Perplexcity is great fun. I play as Edward Nigma and I don't think for 1 second that I'll find the cube, but solving the puzzles helps (for me) to take my brain away from day-to-day events & really relax.
