How do you start - I am struggling I am putting the key on the grae and clicking and nothing is happening - am I doing it all wrong?

Have you registered?? You need to do this in order to receive the emails which tell you what to do. And the very first riddle-clue you get tells you to score 12 with the dice on the map. The 'answer' to this (which you'll get when you throw the 6s) must then be entered to allow you to proceed further.

no I have been sent the first clue talking about graves and what we crave . . .am I even on the right game???

That's probably a later clue - sounds familiar! They have to be solved in the right order. Register and get going!

register S1l73R, Then Click & hold red solution card, pull it out from the side and type in SEA & press send, (but only after u have registered & recieved email from volvo no need to roll dice by left clicking until u get TWO 6'S which frame the word SEA in 'STORMY SEA') U have got a lot of catching up 2 do as have now passed cozumel & heading for..............!?
