Rover 220 SDi
2 Answers
I am considering buying a Rover 220 SDi. It is 10 years old and has clocked up 130,000 miles. I've been told this is nothing for a diesel. The cambelt was changed about 20,000 miles ago.....They want 650 for it..... Is this a good price? I've been given conflicting advice, one friend says don't touch the car with a barge pole and another says go for it. I would appreciate any advice. Do you own a Rover 220 SDi? What is it really like?

One word of caution though, whilst these engines are pretty much bullet proof if they've not been serviced regularly they can be a pig. Once you've bought it, for the sake of 20 have the oil changed immediately.
