I have a complete block on this puzzle this week. I have got the top half OK but stuck on the bottom half. Perhaps if anyone could offer a couple of answers it would bump start my brain (what brain?).

I have finished now thanks to your help (despite my mistake on 12d, sorry). In fact it was 24a in the end - straightforward.

Dear Both,
In the xword clue 24a = uncomplicated (15) and the answer is straightforward!
I would not have got any of the answers without your generous help so I am sorry if I confused you. Late night now and working since 10am to blame I think.

Its not a problem jessiedog..only too glad to help, we all get bogged down with all this puzzling!... and we are not all perfect! We all make little errors now and then. Realised what you had done in the end....anyway good luck with it, hope you have managed it all, come back on if you need any more as I have done this one.
