HI, Am really stuck on the puzzle to win a holiday on page 30 - 31. Linking up the words -
Wide - Cheque
Hand - Bearing
Good - Less
Washing - Drawing
Annual - Tax
Television - Back
Sports - Bag

Have come up with : open, ball, point, line, income, set - cant get the last one taking the first letters of those i get a word that isnt a word! OBPLIS Anyone else managed it?

kayakamina is right , the final word is obelisk.
(i'm not sure about the good even less, but my machine came up with it as a link word!)

hjb - haven't found anywhere on the internet for link words, i've got a pocket puzzle master by franklin (cwm-106) and it does phrases, link words, topics, spellchecker, thesaurus etc, absolutely brill, even when i go on my hols i take it with me! bought it at whsmiths about 2 yrs ago. :-)

I agree with allotment10, I've also had one for a couple of years, I would'nt be without it. I got mine through an advert in the paper. You see them quite often. Well worth their
