Hi, just a bit of confusion - I usually go to the website which was recomended on here before:

http://www.members.lycos.co.uk/bri_tal/crosswo rds.html

to help finish of any tricky questions in this corssword. However for this one It seems to have 9a incorrect as it's answer for post on a wharf or quay used for mooring ships is 'bulwark' whereas I believe it to be 'bollard'.

Or am I wrong ???

Cheers - just caught me off guard a bit as I've not known that site to be wrong before.
