Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

The Mellie Mel one is Grandmaster (Flash who sang with Mellie Mel)

Sorry Jane ...I am at a loss ..know nothing about chess and have no idea who Mellie Mell is ! I am sure someone else will know ..good luck anyway !

2. Lilley, I think. Dennis Lilley and Jeff Thompson were fast bowlers in the Australian team at the same time while Lilley and Skinner sold footwear.

Have you managed to get the answer to 'Vic and his Shooting Star' (8) ? I can't come up with anything other than Mortimer but the fourth letter seems as if it should be an S.

Thanks jane, you're right. It is Mortimer. I've had another look at the quiz and can see that I'd interpreted one of the other questions differently from the way the compiler intended. It's also occurred to me that Thommo's oppo spells his surname Lillee so that answer could be Lillee or Lilley.
