PW...you are going to have to type out Tim Moorey's info on the construction of the clues across otherwise no-one (not even K )is going to get the answers!
For starters, 'Fidelio ban in progress is 'Kreislar' - not an anagram but a composite of first and last letters in the clue - as are ALL the across clues.
