best type of sign

Hi I put this in the sport section with no luck. I want to get a sign for my husbands boat (name of boat) for Christmas and I wondered what the best type would be. I.e stick on or stencil. His boat is wooden (painted)

I think stencil would be best as it would look traditional. Sounds like a lovely present!

I'd say stencil.
Vinyl stickers contract over time and can pull the paint away with them. Plus, depending on the paint finish may not adhere well.
