Well done, Shaney. I don't know if you noticed my post a couple of months ago that I had won the Mephisto. Obviously, I carried on my decades-old habit of doing the crossword, but - the week after I'd been notified - I decided there was no point in submitting any more for a while, as they would obviously keep a note of winners' names and addresses. Accordingly, I submitted it with my partner's name but clearly the same address...and she won, too! It was a runner-up prize this time, but still I could scarcely believe it. Lightning does strike twice, it seems.
Again, my congratulations for your recent triumph.

Strange ...but I often submit puzzles in my dear old Dads name as he was the one who introduced me to cryptic crosswords and helped me to understand them.I won a bottle of brandy in a comp submitted under his name !!
