Johnson character not to be mentioned (7) S?I?T?N
My reading isn't up to this. Not even sure which Johnson is intended. Also: Stopover by Bourget (to change planes, perhaps?) (5) ??A?E and Featured by Trollope in fiction and non-fiction (9) think first letter is C but whole pattern is ????G?M?N (the third letter is the first letter of Bourget clue). Tks in advance for any thoughts.

9 Could be - clergymen - I think Trollope wrote about them in a lot of his books.
Could the Trollope one be clergymen?

Tks all - the clergymen answer gives etape for Bourget (Fr. stage - of a journey, L'Etape is the title of one of his books).
