Please don't ever confuse gypsies with idle lazy sponging cretins, because they aren't, my great grand parents were gypsies and they were honest,hard working people, the idle idiots now are just that, idle sponging scum.

Hi wardy, yes sad to say they have mainly died out, I remember the caravan (vardo) it was beautiful,so clean.the ones travelling now aren't gypsies they are wasters, hope you got rid of them pretty quickly wardy.

ive got a mate who is a traveller, gipsy, pikey, call him what you like, but i tell you what, if i need a favour, hes there within half an hour. and im there for him. hes helped me out where no other bar*t*rd has been. his wife is lovely and so are his kids. dont get me wrong, i know what the majority are like, but please dont tar them all with same brush. he is my mate, and he has trusted me where nobody else would have. each to their own.

tomtech, you are right, we can't tar them all with the same brush, some are decent people, the decent ones now sadly are the minority, if you have a good mate that travels that is great, as we know there are some real nasty people that live in houses.

Wardy - why do you refer to Gypsies as barstards, when the correct spelling is ********? Only kidding!

I don't personally know any Gypsies, but the ones who decided to 'lodge' in our large Company car park, used by our staff & customers, were indeed the filthiest, most disgusting people you would ever wish to meet.

We set up a cam-corder in the boardroom & filmed some of their antics, including p*ssing up outside brick walls & cr*pping on the concrete floors whilst their children looked on & copied them!

I had to go to court twice to get these people removed from our land & can't begin to tell you the mess they left behind. It cost us hundreds of pounds to hire professional cleaners to clear up 'their' mess & to get it back to how it looked before.

Sorry Ray, no disrespect to your ancestors, but they really were scumbags!
