Whaaaattt ?!?!
Question Author
The clue is
write up of a previous example of a solution to a business problem
so I need to know what that is
There are 5 questions in a section so then I have to find the link
From the other 4 questions I am presuming the link is watch or clock parts
Sorry if I didnt explain it properly
smouse, I don't really understand what you're looking for, but....minutes are a write up of ( ? a solution to a business problem? ), and there is an obvious connection to watches / clocks. Any help?
I know what you mean...but then again I have got the quiz as well. I've got CASE STUDY (poss. CASE HISTORY but I favour the first) - CASE being the clock part.
Have you got 6 A and B, 2 A and C - they're the only one's I'm missing from Connections. How are you doing on the Sequences - 12,21,25,30,31,33,38 and 40 still to go.
DK.
Question Author
Thanks doorknob I like case history
I have only got 6E need A B C D
also need 7C D E and 8 A and C

2A akita
2C papillon
as for sequences my son was home for the weekend and did really well in my opinion
I need 16 33 and 37 (which I cant believe is just PQR?)
If you dont want to suffer I will tell you any you want

I was having dogs as a link in 2 - is Papillon a dog??

I also have PQR but some of the others are pretty easy as well.

Yes please put me out of my misery and I can concentrate on what's left.

Likewise do you want my answers for your missing ones
Question Author

I'll tell you what the sequences are then leave you to find the rest as I am sure you will and yes please I would like my missing answers

I've done 7C now and got the connection but dont have the footballer 7E (george??)
Hi Smouse, sorry about the delay - have to keep going in to work!!
6A and 6D I still need, 6B is Polaris and 6C is Vegan - the connection being stars (polaris and vega)

7C is Julian Calendar which you've now got, 7D is Moby Dick and 7E is, indeed, Charlie George, the Arsenal footballer.

8A is Blackford and 8C is Richard Noble (Ford and Noble are types of cars)

Sequences - 16 is Joshua (6th book of the bible)
33 - dont know yet.
37 - just this second had a brainwave - PQRS (keys on a mobile phone!).

Will get back to you if I can manage another brainwave...DK
okay, give up....why TERA??
Question Author
Guessed you had gone to work had no doubt you would get back to me
I will work on the rest of 6 now Having trident for 6B didnt help - lol. I thought cards for 8 but must have b wrong as I have got Eddie Butler
Tera is after kilo and giga in SI units so that is why I went for that
Question Author
Over to you - lol
Smyrna (also called Myrrha) had a relationship with her father. Found a star called Smyra but not quite right - any ideas
8B Cliff Morgan isn't it... (you have to say it with a Welsh accent boyo)
8D Austin
8E Jeannie C. Riley
Okay, here goes....

The favourite daughter of Zeus was Athena. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a star named after her. On the other hand the Roman equivalent of Athena is Minerva and she has a star.
"mange tout" as Del Boy would say.
Question Author
am I allowed not to like it - lol
At least my suggestion seduced her father so if that isnt excessive fatherly love I dont know what it
Course you don't.. the background to yours is definitely more accurate but the planet connection is not quite right. I've got the planet but not quite right on the first bit.

Shall keep on looking...the answer's in the stars somewhere!!!!!
Question Author
and I'm still looking for the bean!!
Question Author
Do you think there are only me and you doing this quiz - lol or perhaps the others are just sharing our answers. Anyway I put the bean question on - have you seen it? I like castor oil best even though it does say technically the castor bean is a seed - what do you think.
Have emailed son to get his mind working on the missing sequence
Just got back - late turn today!

At first sight Castor sounds good (ignore the syntax!). Senna is clever but doesn't really fit with the other answers.

Going to a quiz night tomorrow night - will ask around for ideas.

Do you want me to post the connections one yet?
Question Author
Good luck with the quiz.
We can afford to wait a while for the connection but ask if you want to. Son has no ideas - wasted money on a science degree in my opinion - lol
